October brought the crisp air of Fall, but Image Comics kept the heat going with a lineup of must-read books. The Energon Universe keeps fans coming into comic shops in droves and the month's top Image comic was none other than Transformers #13 from Daniel Warren Johnson and guest artist Jason Howard. The secret origin of Starscream not only kept fans on the edge of their seats, but begging for more. Other major Energon Universe hits included Void Rivals #13, and the end of Scarlett & Destro on the G.I. Joe side of the fence.
The month also saw a red-hot new launch -just in time for Halloween- from the acclaimed team of Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis with Hyde Street #1 (that also sold out immediately). Johns' Ghost Machine line also had wins with Geiger #7 and Rook: Exodus #6. Check out the full list below.
