Summer may be winding down in September, but Image Comics continued to bring the heat as comic shops were stocked to brim with books that everyone wants to read. The Energon Universe train keeps on rolling as the first year of Transformers comes to a close with issue #12, taking the top spot on our list. With the excitement of G.I. Joe #1 around the corner, fans made sure to grab their copies of Destro & Scarlett as well.
Then, readers got a second dose of creator Daniel Warren Johnson as his new launch, The Moon Is Following Us #1, with co-creator Riley Rossmo, popped up on must read lists across the web. Pair all this up with a new launch from Todd McFarlane & David Dastmalchian, Knights vs. Samurai #1, and you've got a September to remember.
