YOU’LL DO BAD THINGS KILLS IN ITS DEBUT, RUSHED BACK TO PRINT THIS WEEK

“Fans of Giallo horror, this one’s for you.”—Fangoria

PORTLAND, Ore. 04/03/2025—The launch issue of the highly anticipated new horror miniseries You’ll Do Bad Things—by award-winning creator Tyler Boss (What’s The Furthest Place From Here?), rising star artist Adriano Turtulici, and lettering legend Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou—has slashed the competition and sold out completely at the distributor level. Image Comics is rushing issue #1 back to print this week due to popular demand…and not at all because a crazed, masked serial killer will come for them if they don’t. Boss, who is currently signing copies of the coveted comic at shops across the country on a signing tour, has contributed disturbingly gorgeous new cover art for the second printing.

"You're all a bunch of freaks too, huh?” said Boss. “Can't thank the comics and horror community alike enough for embracing our book. We've barely shown our hand in the first issue, so the trust y'all have shown in us that we'll deliver on what's up our sleeve means the world to us. What a great day."

Turtulici added: “It's awesome news, I'm so happy!”

In You’ll Do Bad Things, it’s been ten years since the release of He Came in with a Smile, the true crime smash hit that chronicled the brutal murders committed by the Nursery Rhyme Killer. But in the decade since its release, its author Seth Holms hasn’t produced another title. He wants to write a story with a happy ending, but every time his fingers clack across the keyboard it always ends in his character's death. Worse yet? These tales of blood and barbarity that flow so freely from Seth’s mind are starting to happen in real life.

Fans who are seeking more can cut the caution tape and step into the blood-soaked world of You’ll Do Bad Things with an early look at the process artwork behind the shocking first kill.

Select praise for You’ll Do Bad Things:

You'll Do Bad Things has all the notes of your favorite Italian flicks with guts and gore galore but still provides a wholly original and surprising story that makes me FIEND for the next issue. Read it!"—Marcus Parks, co-host of The Last Podcast on the Left

You’ll Do Bad Things is the DEFINITIVE modern-giallo! Adriano Turtulici’s art and colors perfectly brings to life Tyler Boss’s words. With a clear love of the genre but with a spark all their own, Boss and Turtulici have crafted a world that makes you afraid yet eager to turn each page.”—Jesse Gouldsbury, director of The VelociPastor 2

“This is a DANGEROUSLY scary comic. With delightfully-twisted dialogue from storyteller extraordinaire Tyler Boss and shocking visuals by newcomer Adriano Turtulici straight out of a 1970s slasher flick, You’ll Do Bad Things has all the makings of a true crime fan’s instant new favorite!”—Scott Snyder, creator of Absolute Batman, Wytches

You’ll Do Bad Things is both frightening and oddly whimsical. It whispers in your ears, like some sort of shadow self, drawing you in and not letting you leave until the last page. I think this team is the next chapter in the book of ghastly and fantastic tales!”—Vita Ayala, creator of The Horizon Experiment: Finders//Keepers, Submerged, New Mutants

You’ll Do Bad Things is a must-read comic for anyone who loves slashers, color, or has faced a blank Word document with a blinking cursor, as I have so many times before, including this review. The creative team of Tyler Boss, Adriano Turtulici, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou delivers one of the best looking and best written slasher comics that has ever hit shelves. The masterful craftmanship of each page turn brings you deeper and deeper into a neon pastel, horrific tale.”—Gatecrashers

“Some delectable art makes it stand out from the crowd, and it’s backed by a unique, blood-soaked spin on a fun premise. It sets a fun, reality-bending tone that promises more thrills down the line. Horror fans will want to make sure they pick this one up.”—AIPT

“There’s plenty to thrill and terrify in this examination of how modern media transforms tragedy into spectacle. Turtulici and Boss’s grasp of comic storytelling blurs the line between easily understood genre elements and the creeping fears of reality, whether it’s simply writer’s block or being attacked when alone at night. Together they provide a distinct spin both on the true-crime critique and crime comics as a whole in an unforgettable debut. If You’ll Do Bad Things delivers upon the promise of the mystery presented in these early issues, it’s bound to be one of 2025’s best new comics.”—CBR

“This is a real showcase of a debut issue that is best experienced firsthand. Highly recommended!”—Comics Beat

"You'll Do Bad Things might be the most gorgeous horror comic you read this year.”—Boing Boing

“Fans of Giallo horror, this one’s for you.”—Fangoria

You’ll Do Bad Things starts off with two killer issues that were clearly crafted by not just fans of the Giallo genre, but exciting talents who understand both the genre and the comic medium.
