PORTLAND, Ore. 05/06/2024 — Fans returned to the world of Blacksand in droves this week with the release of The White Trees—by New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award winning writer Chip Zdarsky (Newburn, Batman) and fan-favorite Kris Anka (Across the Spider-Verse)—as a conveniently collected one-shot edition. This combo issue was wiped out completely at the distributor level and is being rushed back to print in order to keep up with growing demand. The reprint will feature new cover art by Anka.
Collected together for the first time, The White Trees one-shot includes both The White Trees #1 and The White Trees #2 and provides readers with a tantalizing extension to the Blacksand world they enjoyed in this week’s The Whisper Queen launch.
