LOS ANGELES 09/28/2023 — Today Skybound, in collaboration with leading toy and game company Hasbro, revealed the full lineup of variant covers for Void Rivals #5, the continuation of the new shared universe from the Oblivion Song team of Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead) and Lorenzo De Felici (Kroma), along with colorist Patricio Delpeche (Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country) and letterer Rus Wooton (Fire Power). The latest issue of the space epic hits comic book stores on October 25, 2023.

The “Energon Universe” officially began with the surprise first appearance of iconic TRANFORMERS character Jetfire in Void Rivals #1. The launch introduced the historic new collaboration between Hasbro and Skybound, with TRANSFORMERS and G.I. JOE comics finding a new home with the publisher. Each issue of Void Rivals promises to take readers further into this all-new world, with more familiar faces to appear.
The second launch in the all-new Energon Universe, Daniel Warren Johnson’s Transformers #1 will debut on shelves in comic book shops beginning October 4, 2023.
Void Rivals #5 (Lunar Codes listed below | $3.99) will feature a main cover by De Felici, along with a stacked lineup of variant covers by some of the top talent in comics today.
The issue will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
