PORTLAND, Ore. 03/21/2025 — Hyde Street #3 and Hyde Street #4 by Blackest Night and Aquaman team, Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis along with inker Danny Miki, colorist brad Anderson and letterer Rob Leigh, have sold out completely at the distributor level. Both issues of this popular Ghost Machine horror series are being rushed back to print this week by Image Comics in order to keep up with escalating demand.
“The debut and origin of the Matinee Monster in these two issues is something Geoff and I have been planning since first beginning to collaborate on Hyde Street,” said Reis. “You’ll all get to see more of him in issue #7, when everyone’s favorite deadly scout Pranky begins to hunt the Monster.”
In Hyde Street #3, picture, if you will, a holiday season filled not with joy or cheer, but with shadows and secrets. Enter a man known only as Mr. X-Ray. His journey is a desperate one, seeking escape from the inescapable. Standing in his way, an innocent malevolence: Pranky, a boy scout who lives not to serve his fellow man, but to serve the dark power that presides over Hyde Street. Yet, during this strange Christmas tale, these two unlikely figures may find common ground…or not.
In Hyde Street #4, witness the demise of a good man in a town without pity. A caring man, with aspirations to be known among his peers as one of Hollywood’s finest actors, only to see these colleagues snicker at him when he’s typecast as a famous film monster made of human patchwork parts. But, as we’ll see, life imitates art in Tinseltown, down a boulevard called…Hyde Street.
Hyde Street #3, second printing (Lunar Code 0225IM847) and Hyde Street #4, second printing (Lunar Code 0225IM848) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, April 16.
