IMAGE/GHOST MACHINE'S ROCKETFELLERS #2 TO FEATURE STUNNING TWO-PAGE JAM PIECE SPREAD UNITING GHOST MACHINE ARTISTS & CHARACTERS

PORTLAND, Ore. 11/14/2024 — Ghost Machine’s superstar creators—Jason Fabok, Gary Frank, Bryan Hitch, Ivan Reis, and Peter Snejbjerg—join forces with The Rocketfellers' Francis Manapul for an epic second issue double-page spread spanning the “four known realities” of this groundbreaking creator-owned collective. The spread will appear in the upcoming The Rocketfellers #2, which will be published by Image Comics and hit shelves next month.

After taking the industry by storm with a streak of sell-out titles from Image Comics, Ghost Machine launched The Rocketfellers on November 20 with issue #1. As the futuristic family hides out in “the simple days of 2024,” and struggles to fit into the present, they're also pursued by a relentless threat from their time.

Written by Peter J. Tomasi and Manapul, with art by Manapul and lettering by Rob Leigh, this second issue unveils the villains' search through all four corners of Ghost Machine’s realities—including those of the American history of hidden heroes "The Unnamed" (with Geiger, Redcoat, and Junkyard Joe), the sci-fi breakout hit Rook: Exodus, the twisted terrors of Hyde Street (who is that deadly scout?), and The Rocketfellers’ own "Family Odysseyes" with the upcoming Hornsby & Halo, which is the ultimate experiment in nature vs. nurture by Tomasi and Snejbjerg.

With all of the Ghost Machine titles going to reprintings and selling out across stores, readers are advised to pre-order these issues or add them to their monthly pull lists to ensure they don't miss out on what's next.

“The amount of effort everybody put into those panels is inspiring,” said Manapul. “Aside from loving the pure artistry of each of the artists, it also hammers home to me—and I hope the readers—how wonderfully distinct the entire line of books coming out from Ghost Machine is, and what a wide breadth of genres and compelling characters that are incredibly brought to life by the passion of their creators,” added Tomasi about the collaboration."

Earlier this year Brian Cunningham was named Ghost Machine’s first editor-in-chief.

With an eye towards fostering superstar creators of tomorrow, the company also set up the Ghost Machine Scholarship in June of this year with the famous Joe Kubert School.
