LOS ANGELES 09/27/2023 — Skybound announced today that the smash-hit horror comic Creepshow Vol. 2 #1 has sold out at comic book shops. Based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment, Creepshow Vol. 2 #1 will return with a second printing on October 25, 2023, just in time for Halloween. Season 4 of the series premieres October 13 on AMC and AMC+.

The debut issue of the second volume features stories by comic legends Garth Ennis (Preacher, The Boys), Becky Cloonan (Wonder Woman) and Phil Hester (Gotham City: Year One). Ennis and Cloonan team up for the very first time to deliver a disturbing tale of the unborn. Then, Hester tells the story of a grieving son who bends the laws of nature to see his mother one last time...this can’t end well!
Creepshow Vol. 2 #1’s second printing will feature an all-new variant cover drawn by illustrator Federico Mele.
Creepshow Volume 2’s all-star creative roster also includes Michael Walsh (The Silver Coin), Dan Watters (Homesick Pilots), Abigail Larson (Sandman Universe: The Dreaming), Zoe Thorogood (It’s Lonely at the Centre of the Earth), Joel Farrelly (Tell Me a Story), Nick Dragotta (East of West), Alisa Kwitney (Mystik U), Mauricet (Gilt), Saladin Ahmed (Dragon, Miles Morales: Spider-Man), Joe Quinones (Batman ‘89), Tim Daniel & DB Andry (End After End), Matthew Roberts (Manifest Destiny), and many others to be announced.
The Creepshow comic miniseries deal was brokered by Striker Entertainment.

ABOUT GREG NICOTERO
Greg Nicotero is an executive producer, director, and special effects makeup supervisor who co-founded The KNB EFX Group, Inc., the longest running make up effects house in Hollywood. Since 1988, Nicotero and his team have worked on nearly 1000 film and television programs including Reservoir Dogs, The Green Mile, Suicide Squad, The Mist, Scream, and Sin City to the most recent Werewolf by Night, Candy and Watchmen. In 2010, he was asked by Frank Darabont to design zombies for the AMC series The Walking Dead and went on to become the producing director on the hit show.
