The Week in Images - 8/7 - Part 2
August 9, 2013
August 9, 2013
We publish a lot of comics here at Image, from fun slice-of-life autobio to hardcore science fiction and almost everything in-between. It's always fun to see significant or impressive panels from our comics, and once a week from here on out, we're going to spotlight a great panel or small series of panels from each of our books. The panels might depict a good joke, a vicious fight scene, or simply something that tickled our fancies. We don't want to spoil the comics for you, so we're going to be very careful about what we select, but mild spoiler warnings apply.

Sometimes science requires... sacrifices.
MINIATURE JESUS #4 (of 5) by TED McKEEVER

PROPHET #38 by BRANDON GRAHAM, SIMON ROY & GIANNIS MILONOGIANNIS
You like PROPHET for its relentless originality, and it’s on bright display here as we’re introduced to Suprema, eons after her introduction to the world.
SATELLITE SAM #2 by MATT FRACTION & HOWARD CHAYKIN
Grief is complicated. Even complete jerks have loved ones, and they deserve to be mourned, too.
SHELTERED #2 by ED BRISSON & JOHNNIE CHRISTMAS
It’s the little moments that hit the hardest sometimes, quiet bursts of despair in the middle of desperation.
SIDEKICK #1 by J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI, TOM MANDRAKE & BRIAN MILLER
Riveting introduction to this not-so-ordinary Sidekick.
TEN GRAND #4 by J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI & BEN TEMPLESMITH
Time gets slippery when you’re eternal, and that can make loneliness much, much worse.
