Pia Guerra is a 2023 Pulitzer Prize finalist for her editorial cartoon work. She is also an award-winning comic book creator, best known for her work as co-creator and lead penciller on the Vertigo title _Y: The Last Man, _along with Black Canary, Hellblazer, Torchwood, and Doctor Who.
