Maytal Zchut

Maytal Zchut is a queer, first generation Israeli-American writer, best known for her character driven drama and genre television work, including the DC show _Stargirl _on the CW. Endlessly fascinated by the study of human behavior and the complexities of human nature, she incorporates elements of LGBTQ+ struggles with isolation and identity into her work – often informed by her experiences spending formative years split between America and Israel. After earning a degree in Television from Emerson College, Maytal honed her craft by working in as many areas of the television and film industry as possible. As a fresh voice in comics, Maytal is channeling her screenwriting knowledge and personal experiences to tell stories from her unique perspective.
