Daniel M. Bensen writes science fiction, alternate history, and fantasy. His debut novel JUNCTION is available now from Flametree Publishing and His Sidewise Award-winning alternate history short story "Treasure Fleet" is in the Tales from Alternate Earths anthology. Dan was born in Chicago and currently lives in Sofia Bulgaria, where he teaches English and resides with his daughters, wife, and in-laws in the Balkan Tower of Matriarchy.
