Brian Schirmer

Brian Schirmer lucked into his San Francisco apartment before the market went berserk. From here he writes comics like Fairlady from Image Comics, as well as the self-published Ultrasylvania. His professional bio used to read, "He teaches comics writing at the university level, frequents watering holes where they know his name and beverage of choice, and lives with the girl of his dreams." Well, nowadays, this is more accurate: "He doesn't drink much anymore, hardly ever visits those watering holes, and has made the lateral move from teacher to guest lecturer. Oh, and that girl of his dreams? Yeah. They got married. Happy endings all around."
