The second issue of the southern crime series has sold out instantly, slated for a second printing

In SOUTHERN BASTARDS #2, it’s Friday night in Craw County, Alabama, and that means it's time for some football. The problem is, Euless Boss runs Craw County, and somebody is fixin’ to die.
Praise for SOUTHERN BASTARDS:
"Exactly the kind of pulp goodness I live for."
—Ed Brubaker (FATALE, Captain America)
"Can I just take a second to recommend Southern Bastards by the mighty Jason Aaron? Literally the best book I've read this month. Order!" —Mark Millar (STARLIGHT, JUPITER'S LEGACY, Kick-Ass)
"Southern Bastards by Jason Aaron and Jason Latour made me both terrified and homesick. Fantastic start, boys."
—Matt Fraction (SEX CRIMINALS, Hawkeye)
"Southern Bastards is perfection. There's this great, slow menace to it. Southern Bastards #1 is a perfect comic for you if you like to read... anything." —Scott Snyder (WYTCHES, Batman)
"You need Southern Bastards. Jason Aaron is back to southern-fried grit and Jason Latour is showing he’s one of the best cartoonists of our generation."
—Rick Remender (BLACK SCIENCE, Punisher)
“The gushing about Southern Bastards is completely on point. Jason Aaron nails it (as usual), but Jason Latour is the rocketship here.”
—Jonathan Hickman (EAST OF WEST, Avengers)
“This series both pokes fun at and honors their shared roots. Aaron's gritty noir storytelling blends perfectly with Latour's sharp artwork, creating the ideal setting for a mesmerizing, down home crime story.”
—Comic Book Resources
“A proper Southern Gothic hiding in the skin of a trash genre, Southern Bastards is a must-read.”
SOUTHERN BASTARDS #2 has completely sold out at the distributor level, but may still be available in comic stores. It is currently available digitally on the Image Comics website (imagecomics.com) and the official Image Comics iOS app, as well as on Comixology on the web (comixology.com), iOS, Android, and Google Play.

The hit southern crime series returns, as JASON AARON (Scalped, Thor: God of Thunder) and JASON LATOUR (Wolverine & The X-Men, Loose Ends) pull back the curtain on the history of Craw County and its most famous and feared resident. In a place where only bastards flourish, what does it take to be the biggest, meanest, most powerful bastard of them all? Only Coach Boss knows. And if I was you, I wouldn't ask him.

Welcome to Craw County, Alabama, home of Boss BBQ, the state champion Runnin’ Rebs football team...and more bastards than you’ve ever seen. When you’re an angry old man like Earl Tubb, the only way to survive a place like this...is to carry a really big stick. From the acclaimed team of JASON AARON and JASON LATOUR, the same bastards who brought you Scalped and Wolverine: Japan’s Most Wanted, comes a southern fried crime series that’s like the Dukes of Hazzard meets the Coen Brothers...on meth.
