The i Word: The Rose City Comic Con Sessions, 2 of 2 [Podcast]

Welcome to The i Word, the official podcast of Image Comics, hosted by David Brothers. In creator-owned comics, the creator is the real star, and the goal of the podcast is to not just talk comics with one creator at a time, but to give you a chance to see what influences them, too. This week, The i Word features audio from a panel David moderated at Rose City Comic Con 2016 in Portland, Oregon, named Image Comics: Tomorrow's Comics Today, about the bright future of comics. The panel features, in the order they're introduced, Joe Keatinge, co-creator of SHUTTER and RINGSIDE, Steve Lieber, co-creator of THE FIX, Jason McNamara, co-creator of THE RATTLER, Greg Rucka & Nicola Scott, creators of BLACK MAGICK, Christian Ward, co-creator of ODY-C, and Joshua Williamson, co-creator of NAILBITER and BIRTHRIGHT.

Image Comics: Tomorrow's Comics Today!
The future of comics is bright, and that future will include comics of all types. Join Joshua Williamson (NAILBITER, BIRTHRIGHT), Joe Keatinge (SHUTTER, RINGSIDE), Nicola Scott & Greg Rucka (BLACK MAGICK), Steve Lieber (THE FIX), and Jason McNamara (THE RATTLER) as they discuss branching out, telling new stories, and connecting with fans on a new level.
