Talk about the issue here and only here. I'm trying to keep this forum from exploding like when issue 48 shipped.

Just Finished issue #49. Damn Robert! Did you have a f*cked up childhood?
Do you need a hung? You feeling OK?
You're really putting the hurt on Rick and Carl. Great issue.
One and only complaint. Wish it was a bit longer. |

That did seem short...
I thought I just consumed it too fast, like Whats-His-Name did with The-Stuff. Read the issue and you'll know what I mean. |

This issue made me want to cry.
Man oh man. You've really got a way of showing the hardships of these people, Kirks.
I don't want to spoil anything, but I must say I am truly sad after reading this issue. Looking forward to see what happens next with my little man, Carl.
Hope you all enjoyed it. I must say that I hope the next ones a bit longer!
Keep up the good work.

not a bad issue but damn that went quick. i really hope the next one comes out soon. as in two weeks soon. it just seems like it was a long wait for what was basically an aftermath story that didnt reveal much new. the scene with michonne/tyreses head was great.
so yeah im sure that sounds like a complaint but like i said not a bad issue ... just unsatisfying after the delay. sort of like getting shorted on a bag of really good weed that took all day to get. or so ive heard.
that being said, did anyone else think that the zombie michonne decapitated looked a LOT like rick ? |

That was my exact thought - were we supposed to know that person? I thought it was Rick for sure. Then the end ---- WOW |

its kind of funny, ive been pretty confident that rick was going to die in issue 49 for a while...but the way that this book ended has actually made me less sure of that theory. kirkman just does a really good job of making you second guess yourself.
also, i can never remember whether or not charlie checks these forums or not, but i thought this issue was absolutely beautiful. it was cool to see him take an issue off from hardcore blood and gore, and instead get to really just focus on cool emotion shots for a while. |

dude!!!! Are you really going to kill off Rick?!?! You got some stones on you Mr. Kirkman. It kind of makes sense, since I don't see any upcoming issues with Rick on the cover of them. When you say "Things will never be the same"...you freaking mean it! #49 just came out and I can't wait for #50 now! Whens it coming out?
I was wondering "why would he drastically change around the status quo in issue #48?"....unless he had something even crazy in store for issue #50!!! That explains it! You sly devil. Keep it coming |

| First off sadly I won't be reading this part of the story for awhile since I only buy the TPB's. However, could someone please PM a detailed summary of the issue? I would greatly appreciate it. Also the big question now is, when does 50 come out? |

| If and when Rick dies will be monumentousis TWD world. Or maybe he's just another victim in this crazy messed up world. The future is all about the children, isn't it? Carl's day is due. Can a boy become a man? In TWD he has to. Play time is over. Love it Kirkman...keep up the great work! |
