Missing Madeleine!
We received notice of this from our friend Mark Millar. Here's the terrible story from Mark:
I don't know how big a story this has been in the States, but the abduction of British toddler Madeline McCann from her bedroom two weeks ago has been very upsetting for everyone here. She was snatched by what police believe was an organized ring when she was on holiday with her parents in Portugal and so far leads have been minimal.
There's an enormous effort here in the UK to keep this hunt going and a $5 million dollar reward has already been promised, a separate fighting fund established to help both she and other kids in the same situation. It was hammered home to me when I realized her Dad was trained beside a couple of my friends and one pal whom I had a drink with last night was saying her Uncle wanted everyone to help whatever way they can. Even the smallest effort potentially helps and so we changed the Millarworld front page as follows...

Also, I really wanted to get the offical missing poster as a download for all the retailers in Europe, Ireland and the UK. If your comic store DOESN'T have this up please ask them to put it in their front window today. Print it off and hand a copy over if they don't have one already. Retailers, please show your support by taking a snapshot of the pic in your window and post it here in the thread below. Also, spread this appeal around as many websites as you can. There's literally hundreds of stores across the continent and every little helps.
